The two German Engineers Martin Sammet and Joachim Maerz are building Snowboards out of their passion for board-riding since 1983. During their time studiing in France they helped developing the snowboard to that what it is today - a professsional sport equipment - not a lot of people though this would happen back in the 80s. But the Pogo premium snowboard manufactory located in Löwenstein shows today with a yearly revenue of 600,000 Euro that the boardsport industry is still booming.
